Together with the organization Women in Physics, History of Technology DTU invites everyone to join an evening dedicated to the women of DTU and in the history of physics: How has the role of women in physics/science
research developed throughout DTU’s 200 year old history, and why are there so
few in the historical collection? We take a guided tour in the archives and
discuss how it was being a woman working in science at various times. The tour
finishes off with a breakout-game based on famous female physicist in history.
Women in Physics is a national network for female physicists organizing social and scientific events under the slogan "fairness, equity and visibility". DTU is currently represented with three seats in the board.
The event will take place on April 14th, 16:00-18:00 in building 306, Matematiktorvet, Campus Lyngby. It is free and you can sign up via the link below.
